Had just watched the Omen recently with my friend, at that time. Went out on Halloween night with my friends to a graveyard. Just about to get into the graveyard when we were talking about the scene with the dogs in the graveyard. Next moment a fairly big Rothweiller (guard dog) was standing atop of the wall growling in a most menacing manner down upon us ready to pounce.Needless to say , we did not go in. But the screams from the girls & some of the guys was most effective and made for a memorable night.
Again ,cheers Arvi for the idea.
Come on folks, get the scare fest for real going. I have a few, but would love to hear more. The spookier the better.  Shocked Undecided

Dutch & not scared! You have not met the ex-mother in law. Shocked
Not Scared, you have not been tested yet. There are things out there people that will, without fail test your nerve. You will feel fear. Scary experiences heighten the senses. Some we look for . There are others that appear from nowhere that will let you know what fear is. Lips sealed Shocked

OK, I admit. Once in a while I am scared.

Bruxelles sprouts make me shiver and sweat. It's the ghost of my childhood.

Ok , I have to agree with Efjot on this one. Brussell Sprouts are not a normal plant. Whoever put them on the market as a food source was a master of torture.
Probably , most likely by a mother in law. Undecided

Like I said:
Dutch are not scared. Dutch mother in laws are able to serve them without showing any emotion.

Cant have too much talk about vegetables here, otherwise we will have all sorts sprouting . Still not sharing the scare.
Sat down in Seance 20 years ago and my friend holding my hand received an electric shock from me and was lifted up about 3 metres backward. Interesting session that night indeed.

Not too much this kind of experience.

Once, I was climping Huang Shan. didn't follow others but chose my own direction and almost skipped down from a cliff.

Another time, sb was beating a woman on the street, I tried to stop him. got in a fight....

Is it when someone or something close to our hearts are in danger that we feel vulnerable?
Is this where much of our fear stems from?
Or maybe it is the fear of being alone (in some cases, yeah).
Understand the origin of  fear within
and you need not fear the outward no more.( Or do you)
