At a recent visit to Scarlett I was introduced to a new club/lounge which is part of Scarlett I think. It is located on the 2nd floor while Scarlett is one floor above. This lounge really reminds me of one Lounge/Supper club located in Toronto. The atmosphere really makes me feel I am in a big city club. On both nights there was mixture of expats and locals. Be prepared to meet expats from all over the world at this club Both times I attended the music was incredible. The DJ starts playing Lounge style music at 11pm. Prices for bottles are quite reasonable, between 200-400Yuan depending on your choice. They provide a buffet with Chicken,spaghetti, french fries, onion rings and fruit. Not a bad spread for a Chinese club. Service is average but Peter makes up for it by helping out so we are always happy with Peter's service. Overall I give this lounge a 9 out of 10. Watch out for this Lounge, soon it will be one of the premier spots to party in Tianjin! |

| Cons (-) | Lots of advertising but not open unless you have a regular weekly order. But then not open at all?????? Web site contradictory with delivery days and delivery fee. |
| Overall | I tried to place an order from them. The website has a lot of contradictory information on it. RE delivery schedules and delivery charge.The products are quite attractive to me and I was very excited. The thought of not having to make the trip to Isetan made me very happy. After placing the order I was told the business is temporarily closed for restructuring, however they were still open to regular weekly orders, all business has been halted for 1 week. I still don't quite understand which is the case. Anyways a big disappointment! |

| Pros (+) | It has a good general location near the Jinyi Cinema at Magnetic Capital. Most menu items are reasonably priced, with a great two-for-one offer on beers. You'll also find some of the popular menu items from the cafe called La Seine that was downstairs, like the cheesecake and ice cream. Another plus is that the place is very spacious and has reasonably subdued lighting and decor. |
| Cons (-) | The specific location is a bit odd, and it might be hard to find, though there's a big sign. I also found the food menu a bit limited and the food nothing special. Coffee is noticeably more expensive than beer. |
| Overall | Comfortable and relaxing place that is worth stopping by at for a drink if you are around this area. It might also be a good place for lunch if you work nearby. Good ice cream and cheesecake, but the other food is not worth going out of your way for. |

The small villa decor and atmosphere is a real charm! We thoroughly enjoyed the food here and the draft Guiness and Kilkenny suitably impressed the gentlemen in our party. The staff were very friendly and the western manager ensured we didnt need to use our limited Chinese. |
| Cons (-) | Not many deserts yet, but we were advised more would be coming. |
| Overall | Friends introduced us to Chateau 35 and we were suitably impressed. Its really a lovely place to relax and enjoy an evening. |

- with the VIP card, the price are ok: 28 RMB/seat, plus special line. The card is easy to get, nott musch constraint - Conveniently situated at the end of the Heping walking street |

- The toilets are so-so - Movies in Original version are not that common (even if more than before): the Jinyi Movie theater has more |
| Overall | This is a good place for watch movies in the center of the city, i wish they would put more movies in original version. DOn't hesitate to purchase the VIP card if you go more than once to the movie (more than 50% discount!) |

The center organization is quite helpful if you need it: they helped me to find some classmate to study with me, so as to share the price Nice surrounding, quiet (inside a complexe with small buildings, trees everywhere) |
| Cons (-) | It's not very convenient to go there (i mean by public transportation), and even with a cab, when you go out, it's not a common passage so cab are not that frequent. |
| Overall | In general i would say the teaching is OK. I don't remember having been disapointed, neither did i found the teaching outstanding. Their prices were OK, good teaching book, they were listening to my needs. |

This place is more on the vertical side: there are 4 floors, each of them can accomodate around 15 people, so in definitive even though a lot of people can stay there, each floor keep an intimacy, which is quite nice. The drinks and sandwiches anre quite cheap, for good quality Coffee place situated very central in Tianjin, not far from Xikai church and Binjiang dao |
| Cons (-) | a little hard to find: to find it, don't go inside the Chengji center, but go in the small alley that follow the East facade of this department store, there you'll find the entrance of the Amy coffee |

| Pros (+) | A lot of choice, for big and snmall quantities. Good selection of foreign products too. Not very crowded (when i went there) |
| Cons (-) | The difficulty to go there is the major reason why i don't go there more often: isolated in the North-West of the city, it's not really convenient to go there. |
| Overall | It's really a good place for shopping, especially if you are looking for foreign products. It's just a little far and not convenient to go there. It's not sure if you need a member card to shopping. |
